As We know that Abigail Breslin is the Zombiland Star. Recently it's reported... According to Bloody Disgusting, the Columbia Pictures reportedly studio is searching for a "superstar cameo" for "Zombieland 2" sequel and it has to be someone in the class of Harrison Ford or Anthony Hopkins. Its step follow "Zombieland" that got a lot of attention for having a cameo by Bill Murray among other things.

Beside that.. Zombieland 2.. The movie's script allegedly mentions the lead villain will have comedic roots. Moreover, Woody Harrelson's Tallahassee is said to be up against a "hunky rival" after he was previously rumored to find his love interest in "Zombieland 2".

Then Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg is the only other star officially attached to the project at this point but other original cast like Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin have expressed their willingness to reprise their roles in the second film. "Zombieland" helmer Ruben Fleischer is on board to return to the same post for the next film and he has planned to shoot it in 3-D.

Breslin and Pill bring a Miracle to Broadway

The Miracle Worker, starring Abigail Breslin and Alison Pill, is an extraordinary play demonstrating the foundation of the lifelong bond formed between Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan — two stubborn and intelligent individuals who learned from each other.

A revival of the groundbreaking production first written by William Gibson in 1959, this production challenges viewers by critically presenting the issues Keller faced as a bright, though deaf, blind and feral child.

From the very beginning, the audience will be gripped to the story, as Kate Keller tries to calm Helen as she cries in her arms. The tension is immediate. Kate panics when she notices that Helen doesn’t blink when she waves a hand before her face, and she and her husband, Captain Keller, realize that their infant daughter cannot see.

The Miracle Worker.. In the next few moments, an adolescent Helen wreaks havoc while her family argues about how to deal with her. They finally decide to contact one more doctor who might help her lead a normal life and help them lead normal lives.

This is where the vivacious and outspoken Sullivan enters, struggling to win the Kellers’ confidence, despite her lack of experience. She quickly shows them progress, however, by helping Keller make baby steps that seem like strides to the family: teaching Helen to eat with a spoon from her own plate and to fold her napkin.

But, this isn’t enough for Sullivan, who knows firsthand how it feels to be denied the ability to communicate. She believes that Keller can learn to do so, despite her crippling circumstances. Interestingly, she determines that those crippling circumstances are the pity of her parents, rather than her disability itself.

The Miracle Worker.. Sullivan confronts Keller’s parents, explaining that their daughter may never outgrow her tantrums if they continue to coddle her and cave into her demands. “Obedience is the gateway through which knowledge enters the mind of a child,” she says.

Sullivan recognizes that there is a fire to be tamed in Keller — her yearning to be heard. She convinces the family to allow her to coach the young girl in a private setting, where she won’t be able to depend on them. The family gives her a mere two weeks to work a miracle. In 14 days, Keller improves her behavior, learns letters and repeats words that Sullivan forms on her palm.

Although Sullivan is not at all satisfied, she shows the Kellers just how bright their child is, and finally enables them to see that her potential reaches far beyond simple dinner etiquette.

The play poignantly portrays the rough childhood Helen Keller endured before she made milestones for the deaf and blind, along with the obstacles Annie Sullivan overcame, shown through the occasional flashbacks to the life she led with her late younger brother in a horrendous 1800s asylum.

The Miracle Worker.. While the play primarily focuses on the two women, it also depicts the very complex obstacles that Helen’s family faced. She never hears or sees them, but she heavily affects them.

It critically displays the tender relationship between Helen and her parents, the sentimental one Captain Keller shares with his wife and the strained one he shares with his son. All of these intricate details are finely woven into the greater context of Gibson’s homage to two of the 19th century’s most inspirational women.

She is to make her Broadway debut playing Helen Keller in a revival of the hit play The Miracle Worker.

"I am so honoured," Abigail Breslin said "It's always been something I wanted to play."

Blind and deaf, Keller learnt to communicate through the tireless efforts of teacher Annie Sullivan.

"Helen is a hero of mine — for so many reasons. She never gave up on herself," said Abigail Breslin. The play opens in March.

Broadway regular Alison Pill will play Sullivan, a role made famous by the late Hollywood actress Anne Bancroft.

It's time for a new Zombieland poster that actually shows the stars of the film. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the horror-comedy stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin...and there they all are on the poster.

It's just difficult territory for whomever designs these things. They are given stills of the cast, then told to color-correct, touch-up and assemble a poster from these assets. That's how you end up with posters like these, where Abigail Breslin's overlap with Emma Stone looks a little...off.

Just focus on Abigail Breslin's right hand (on your left) and work down the divide. It's close, but the jacket blends with the artifical shadow and you can't really tell she's holding a shovel so it looks sort of like Abigail Breslin's hand is embedded in Stone's stomach. Then, it becomes obvious that they re-lit Jesse Eisenberg's shotgun in photshop to make the lines more defined.

Abigail Breslin-Zombieland Poster poster might do a better job of selling the movie, but it has a worse chance of ending up on my wall.

Kit Kittredge: An American Girl story is based in 1934, just a few years into the Great Depression. The Depression scenes plays out it injustice(s) in total disregard to social status, property possessions, job description and of course, the haves and the have not. I've been told stories from people who have lived through the Great Depression and I can tell you that Kit Kittredge: An American Girl film comes pretty darn close to reality.

Abigail Breslin and her cohorts has this not so secret clubhouse in the family's yard. Secret initiation ceremonies, secret oath and secret chit-chat dominate the playtime of this secret club. As the movie progresses, we see the club forming ideas to help the less fortunate on the street where they live.

Movies like Kit Kittredge gives me hope that there are a few Hollywood idea men that are left who can present to the world, movies laced with a healthy dose of 'nice' and topped off with a dollop of a kindred spirit

Lost Adventure, 'Nim's Island' is one of those films that had the potential to be a great adventure flick but, sadly, misses the mark. The screenplay is inconsistent and the script loses focus. Most of the characters aren't well developed, some are unnecessary and would have been better left out. While there are many plot holes, there are some unnecessary (and irritating, especially the sequences with the caricature bad guy visitors in the island) subplots. The entire Nim's Island film revolves around Nim being stranded on the island all by herself as her father is lost somewhere at sea and a 'borderline' agoraphobic Alexandra travelling to the island to rescue her. The climax of Nim's Island is very disappointing. When one sees Nim and Alexandra meet for the first time, something big is expected but nothing like that happens. I would have much preferred that the film focus on Nim and Alexandra's adventure in the island and their attempt to rescue Jack but there's nothing like that. Moreover, the look of the film isn't that appealing. There are some nice glimpses of the island but the CGI is poor and use of green screen copy pasting is too obvious (due to poor lighting). I liked the animal characters but only the adorable sea lion looked realistic. Abigail Breslin and Gerard Butler are okay but they are mostly let down by the shoddy screenplay. However, Jodie Foster was amusing to watch. It's great to see her in a comedic performance and she carries off the eccentric Alex's 'borderline' agoraphobia and determination to save Nim with comic flair. It is her scenes that save 'Nim's Island' from being a total disaster. Nim's Island film ends on a note that there might be a sequel. If there is, well I hope it has much more to offer.

Had a chance but....., No Reservations.. This movie had all the potential and makings of a great feel good, great love story...the cast is perfect, the visuals work, the original premise works, the characters work....but the story moves from one chess move to the next in a most predictable way...not one character in the movie has any depth or has any depth explained by the director. All we know about Catherine Zeta-Jones character is she is obsessed with her world....nobody is allowed in and nobody challenges her world...that much is obvious....but the remaining characters all have their own dimensions that are really never explored or exposed....Aaron Eckhart's character had so much more to offer to the story but wasn't allowed, Abigail Breslin's character is so easy to understand that her performance comes across somewhat predictable and phony....in the end everything reverts back to the forced turbulent world of Catherine Zeta-Jones which the audience never totally falls for....honestly, her turbulent world is not much more than a portrayal of a selfish, self obsessed, spoiled lady who most people would not have much time or sympathy for in the real world. The director needed to make her a hero and never does....in the end, it is Eckhart's character that ultimately wins because he wins.

Not a lousy movie, just a movie that could have been a lot better with more depth of personalities allowed in, explained and exposed.

Some comment about Chestnut: Hero of Central Park... I saw this movie as part of the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, and I really enjoyed it. I'm not usually a huge fan of kid and dogs movies, and the flick is somewhat predictable, but it still tugged at my heartstrings. Without giving any details, there is a sad scene towards the end. I was sitting in a room full of kids while watching the movie, and you could hear them all sobbing. It was almost laughable.

Chestnut.. The kids' acting is pretty good, the dog is cute, and the storyline is solid, as long as you don't think too critically about it. I'm guessing it won't win any Academy Awards, but I know lots of children who would really enjoy it, and I'd guess it will do well in the small fry crowd.

Keane also shares a similar theme to his first film Clean, Shaven which focuses on a schizophrenic man trying to get his daughter back from her adoptive mother.

Keane premiered in 2004 at the Telluride Film Festival and was also screened at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. It won both the critics award and the July special prize at the 2005 Deauville American Film Festival before getting a limited New York only theatre release on September 9, 2005.

Quantum Quest is a science fiction film that takes the viewer on an atom adventure in space. This film, featuring a cast of major actors providing their voices to the characters, was initiated by JPL/NASA through a grant from Jet Propulsion Lab via the international Cassini Huygens mission to Saturn. Though other missions have been seen in film projects, this is the first where NASA initiated the project with an independent filmmaker in order to create an animated fiction film to be based upon on-going missions, science, and discovery. The 3D, large format CGI-animated educational film interweaves actual space imagery captured from ongoing NASA missions with an adventure, set in an imaginary universe and intended to create a family-friendly film experience that entertains while educating viewers about our solar system. Abigail Breslin may have finally found the role that'll help Breslin's transition from adorable-kid roles to a more adult movie career. Abigail's signed on to star along with Maria Bello in The Falls, an adaptation of the Joyce Carol Oates novel Rape: A Love Story. Yes, it's about as controversial as the title suggests.

Production Weekly reported the news in this week's issue as well as their Twitter feed. Samuel L. Jackson will also be part of the film, though it's unclear which part he'll play. Maria Bello'll star as Teena Maguire, a woman who is attacked and raped while walking through a park with her daughter Bethie (Abigail Breslin). Teena names her assailants, who turn out to be men from the neighborhood, and is harassed for her trouble. My money would be on Jackson for the role of "their unexpected, silent champion, a man who knows the meaning of justice. And love."

Fall for the Falls.. Booklist wrote of Rape: A Love Story that "Oates' unflinching dramatization of the insidious aftereffects of a horrific crime neatly exposes the underside of family loyalty, dissects the hatred victims attract, and reminds readers that the real power resides in the survivor, not the attacker." It sounds like an intense and powerful story, and one that pretty much no child actor but Abigail Breslin could convincingly be a part of. Working with child actors can't be easy. But when the stars align, there's nothing like it. Only three kids have snatched Oscar gold - Patty Duke, Tatum O'Neal, and Anna Paquin - but that doesn't mean other performers can't be feted. In fact, a huge range on shortlist of favorite performances by a child actor...

1. Jackie Coogan, The Kid (1921). Age: 7. The kid role by which all others are judged sees Coogan up against Charlie Chaplin, who discovered the little tyke after seeing him in a Los Angeles vaudeville house. It was an inspired bit of casting, but has lessened some after becoming a footnote in the argument over the rights of children in movies (the money Coogan earned from the film was embezzled by his parents, who left him with a fraction of his $4-million fortune.) Save the drama for your mama - Coogan's performance in The Kid still resonates.

2. Ricky Schroeder, The Champ (1979). Age: 9. The future star of Silver Spoons is a delight opposite Oscar winners Jon Voight and Faye Dunaway. The veterans occasionally veer into maudlin melodrama, but Schroeder, despite his extremely young age and lack of experience, is a knockout in this boxing drama. His touching final scene with Voight is a tearjerker for the ages. Old Yeller and Lassie have nothing on The Champ.

3. Tatum O'Neal, Paper Moon (1973). Age: 10. When his daughter started having ulcers at a young age, Ryan O'Neal pushed her toward acting as a form of rehabilitation. The trick worked. Tatum O'Neal's performance as an orphaned grifter (which she played opposite her father) won her an Oscar, making her the youngest actor in history to win the trophy. Three years later, she was amazing all over again in The Bad News Bears, but her career prospects shrivelled up soon after.

4. Elizabeth Taylor, National Velvet (1944). Age: 12. The role of Velvet Brown turned Taylor into an instant star, but it had its drawbacks. (Taylor would suffer for years from back pain from a fall during the shoot.) The cast was led by then-star Mickey Rooney, but few could snatch the camera's gaze from Taylor. While her natural screen presence greatly overshadowed her talent, National Velvet shouldn't be dismissed.

5. Haley Joel Osment, The Sixth Sense (1999). Age: 11. Oh, he's freaky all right. But you would be too if you saw dead people.

6. Abigail Breslin, Little Miss Sunshine (2006). Age: 10. Breslin, ever charming during scenes with fellow Oscar nominee Alan Arkin, who played her loving grandfather, brought the movie-going public to its collective knees when she bopped to Rick James during the finale of Little Miss Sunshine. She truly earned her Oscar nod.

7. Macaulay Culkin, Uncle Buck (1989). Age: 9. Home Alone made major bucks - and Culkin's career - but the film franchise grows more histrionic with repeated viewings. If you ever wondered why Culkin became a star in the first place, start with Uncle Buck. Culkin's scenes with Amy Madigan (through the front door mail slot) and John Candy (during which he interrogates the Canadian comic) are pure gold.

8. Heather O'Rourke, Poltergeist (1982). Age: 7. Although Tobe Hooper is credited with directing Poltergeist, there's more than enough evidence to support the rumour that Steven Spielberg, in fact, was commander of the ship. Spielberg always has a way with kids, and the star-making performance of O'Rourke, who died tragically of a cardiac arrest at 12, certainly has Spielberg-ian touches. Despite having a small part, she was the standout in Poltergeist.

9. Justin Henry, Kramer vs. Kramer (1979). Age: 8. Robert Benton's heartbreaking gut-punch garnered four acting Oscar nominations, including one for tiny Justin Henry, the youngest person ever nominated for an Oscar. Henry was a neophyte, but his turn of a kid torn between divorcing parents is a small- scale wonder. Few can watch his final scenes in the movie without flowing tearducts.

10. Brad Renfro, The Client (1994). Age: 12. Renfro was a rookie at the time of his star turn in The Client, but his remarkable poise and conviction forced both viewers and critics to take notice. Directors appeared to like Renfro as well, which aligned the troubled youngster (who died last year of a heroin overdose) with Barry Levinson, Bryan Singer, and Terry Zwigoff during his all- too brief career.

The Ultimate Gift.. At one point everything is taken from him and he lives as a homeless man; another time he visits a developing country where even old library books are a treasure. Along the way, the movie spins a side story that was not in the novel, adding a romantic interest, Alexia (Ali Hillis), and her daughter Emily, an outspoken mysterious girl (Abigail Breslin) who, unbeknowst to Jason, is dying from leukemia. All throughout the movie, Jason helps Emily to have a great life while it lasts. As Jason works through these twelve gifts in twelve months, he comes to see Red Stevens as more than a dead billionaire. At the end of the film when he chooses to use his entire inheritance to build a hospital, called Emily's home (named after Emily), for cancer patients and their families. He has exceeded the expectations of his dead grandfather and receives one final "gift", making him a billionaire. At the end Emily dies of leukemia, and Alexia and Jason pray for her.
